1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GenEdu, owned and operated by GenEdu LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, services, software, and related applications (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

2. Description of Services

GenEdu provides AI-powered educational tools, including but not limited to a research assistant, tutor, and summarizer. These tools are designed to assist with learning, studying, content development, and other educational purposes. You acknowledge that the AI-generated outputs (the “Content”) may vary in accuracy and quality.

3. Paid Subscription

Subscription Plans: We offer both free and paid subscription plans. The paid subscription (“Premium Plan”) costs $10 per month (or as otherwise specified at the time of purchase) and grants you expanded or additional features.
Billing Cycle: Payment is charged in advance on a monthly basis and will automatically renew unless canceled.
Refund Policy: We may (but are not required to) offer a refund or partial refund at our sole discretion. Refund requests can be submitted through [our support email/contact form].
Payment Processor: All payments are processed through a third-party payment processor, such as Stripe, and are subject to that processor’s terms and conditions. We do not store your payment information on our servers.

4. Disclaimer of AI Outputs

No Guarantee of Accuracy: While our AI tools strive to provide helpful and accurate information, the outputs are generated by algorithms and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inconsistencies.
Use at Your Own Risk: You agree that your use of any AI-generated Content is at your own risk. GenEdu LLC is not liable for any errors, omissions, or potential legal or academic consequences arising from your use of the outputs.
Not Professional Advice: AI-generated Content does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for specific guidance.

5. User Obligations

Compliance with Laws: You agree to use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
No Misuse: You shall not misuse the Services in a manner that disrupts our platform or infringes upon the rights of others.
Age Restriction: You represent and warrant that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have the consent of a legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

6. Intellectual Property

Ownership: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, technology, trademarks, and other content, are owned by GenEdu LLC or its licensors.
License to Use: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services.
Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works of, rent, lease, loan, sell, or transmit the Services or any portion thereof without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

Ownership: You retain ownership of any text, data, or information that you upload or input into our system (“User Content”).
License to Us: By providing User Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, modify, display, distribute, and create derivative works of such content as necessary to provide the Services.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload, and GenEdu LLC assumes no liability for loss or damage arising from your User Content.

8. Copyright and Content Removal

Copyright Compliance: You are strictly prohibited from uploading or inputting any copyrighted material without proper authorization or license. This includes but is not limited to academic papers, books, articles, and other protected intellectual property.
Removal Requests: If a company, organization, or rights holder requests the removal of content or user access, GenEdu LLC will conduct a review of the request. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to take any action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to:
- Immediate removal of the content in question
- Temporary suspension of user accounts
- Permanent termination of user accounts
- Any other measures necessary to address the complaint
No Appeals Process: Any actions taken in response to copyright or removal requests are final and at our complete discretion. We are not obligated to provide notice before taking such actions.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms or misuse of our platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

As-Is Basis: The Services, including all AI-generated Content, are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
No Warranty: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GENEDU LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
No Guarantee: We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GENEDU LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES; (B) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT OR INFORMATION.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GenEdu LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GenEdu LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will notify you (by posting a notice on our website or via email) before the changes become effective. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
